The VADA blog has officially found a new home at - vada-voom.com/blog There is an information page or two that need a few finishing touches, but we are ready for visitors. As an added treat, there are two new posts just waiting to be seen by the world.
I want to send a huge SHOUT OUT to Joell from Image Garden Designs. Joell is a seriously talented woman. She is pure visual genius. Not only that, her customer service and follow-up communications are off the charts.

Jody + Brad: E-Shoot
I cheated a little on Jody and Brad’s engagement session! I have been working a ton in Minneapolis over the last month and a half photographing weddings, engagement sessions, and anti-bridals. The week before Jody and Brad’s session, I photographed an awesome wedding in this same park with the most wonderful couple. The reason I wanted to go back was there are so many awesome little areas and vignettes to photograph in. While I tried to use only new backdrops, there were a few I couldn’t help but photograph and put a different spin on.
Jody and Brad’s wedding is only 10 days away! I cannot wait to see you guys soon.

I am over my head in phenomenal wedding, anti-bridal, and engagement images right now. Emily and Chris have been patiently waiting to see images from their day. You guys are incredible. Emily your smile is absolutely contagious. Every time I see that big grin I find myself a little more happy.

Michele + Steve - E-Session
There are simply too many good images to pick from Michele and Steve’s engagement session. Everything about their shoot was perfect. Michele’s ability to navigate steep hills in cute little sandals was an added bonus! You guys are awesome. Here is a sneak peek of a small sampling of my favorites.

Kelly + Tyler - E-Session
While summer is still deciding if it wants to arrive in Minnesota this year, engagement season is in full swing here at the studio. Kelly and Tyler marked one of my first sessions of the (supposedly) warm weather season. We had a riot. I am looking forward to their wedding in Stillwater this fall. I know their fun personality and wicked sense of humor is going to make for an incredible day.

Jalene + Todd
Back in the North Woods…
There is no place like home. I am blessed to photograph at some wonderful locations all over the U.S. and beyond; however, not many wedding and reception locations compare to Grand View Lodge. As an added bonus, it only takes me three minutes to drive to from my front door. Jalene and Todd’s wedding was a great way to start off my summer “Up-North” season.
